Vocations



Tongue Point offers these vocational training programs on campus:

Advanced Career Training program (ACT)
A full-time college program at Clatsop Community College is also offered. Students must complete a vocation on center before applying for this program. Students participate in three classroom sessions in preparation for college enrollment. While enrolled, students remain on center and enjoy all the financial privileges of room and board.

Employability Skills
In all vocations, students learn to dress appropriately, be punctual, follow direction and respond to supervision, demonstrate skills in problem-solving, workplace communication, teamwork, and customer service.
